OptimaPharma is a division of Taro Pharmaceuticals Inc., a multinational company operating in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Israel, which was launched in April of 2001.  Since that time, OptimaPharma has worked quickly to add to its product line through both product development and acquisition including such products as Dermovate®, Dermalac®, and Ketoderm®.  It has successfully focused on providing high quality dermatological products in Canada and is currently proud to offer a product family that includes antifungals, emollients and covers the complete range of corticosteroids.

OptimaPharma is a new kind of company dedicated to meeting the needs of dermatologists.  Its vision is “to become the leader in dermatology, by exceeding customer needs with a broad portfolio of quality prescription & over-the-counter products and services.”  This vision is supported through its ongoing commitment to remain a service-oriented organization, which maintains direct contact with its customers.

OptimaPharma has established several tools for “Listening to Dermatologists.” A network of 5 Territory Managers located across Canada are dedicated to providing excellent service and establishing communication pathways between you the Dermatologists and OptimaPharma. Your feedback combined with ideas from the OptimaPharma Dermatology Advisory Board, have resulted in such initiatives as the development of a case-based workshop program to educate physicians, state of the art package design and the introduction of larger physician sample sizes for its products.

The “Sharing of Solutions” occurs as the on site R&D team with 17 years of formulating experience works to develop innovative products based on the ideas of Dermatologists. 

“Delivering of Results” is emphasized in the high quality of both the services and the products, which are backed by 51 years of manufacturing experience provided by Taro Pharmaceuticals Inc.
